WHO WE ARE   Pollen Finance was established in 2015 to service a growing need by SMEs to access funding for business growth. Fast funding is a vital component of our success.

Since 2015, we helped businesses with up to R1 billion in short-term loans, becoming South Africa’s leading business loan provider in the fintech category. We are backed by the Anglo African Group, an investment company in Stellenbosch that has been financing SMEs since 1994.

How it WORKS

QUALIFYING CRITERIA

We know that the biggest challenge to all small and medium-sized businesses is access to finance. Whilst we wish we could assist everyone, we have an obligation towards you, to loan responsibly and with discretion. Our pre-assists us with this.

1. You need to have a registered business that has been trading for least 1 year. (Start-ups do not qualify.)

2. A minimum annual turnover of  R1 million (or R85000. per month)

We know you are busy, that’s why our application process will only take a few minutes of your time.

2. Determine the amount you wish to loan (amounts between R50K to R1.5m)

3. Answer the few easy questions and provide us with your contact details

4. Submit

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Our consultants will contact you within hours to verify your application and to request these documents from you.

1. Latest 6 months bank statements of your business

2. A Pollen Application Form (we will provide this to you for your signature)

If preliminary approval has been granted, based on our system’s assessment of your businesses cash flow, the following final documents will be requested.

1. Consent to Credit Search forms (we will provide this to you for your signature)

2. CIPC Company registrations documents

3. Copy of Lease Agreement (If applicable)

4. Copy of ID of Directors

5. Latest VAT statement of account

WE ARE DEPENDENT ON YOU TO SUPPLY US WITH THIS INFO– ONCE RECEIVED AND IF APPROVED, WE PROMISE TO HAVE THE FUNDS IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT WITHIN JUST 3 DAYS, IF NOT SOONER.

OUR FEES

1. We charge an all inclusive fee of 25% of the amount loaned Eg. Your business loans R100,000,your fee would be R25, 000 and you would therefore pay back R125,000 over the period of the loan**Loan periods may differ, depending on your specific agreement with us.

2. There are NO upfront payments required.You only start paying after you have received the full loan amount in your company bank account.

3. There are NO hidden costs such as application fees etc.

OUR LOANS ARE SHORT-TERM

1. The loan term is a maximum of 8 months subject to certain conditions.

2. The standard loan is repayable in equal weekly instalments

3. Monthly instalments are available for qualifying businesses, dependent on one’s cashflow.

4. Early settlement discounts of up to 75% are available.
